“Pinegrove is our hero.”
Those were the words of Patricia Beam, one of about fifty Charter Members and potentials who took a Walkabout on July 9 at the site of their future new Carriage Homes on Meadow Trail, touring 100 acres of orchards, meadows and woods at Pinegrove Estates.
Patricia and her newlywed, Ken, visited their property and shared a kiss before their neighbors. “This is where our honeymoon cottage will be,” said Ken Beam. “I can’t wait.”
The excitement over Pinegrove grew as Members and potentials toured on foot and in golf carts, with Co-Founder J. Thomas Briody as the guide. They began new friendships with their future Pinegrove neighbors and experienced a bit of the exceptional lifestyle.
“Look at the view from the new dining room of the Country House,” Briody said near a meadow of wildflowers and tall, old oaks.
“Amazing, isn’t it? You will be able to see the wildlife and sunsets from here each evening.”
Briody reflected later: “It was a big step for people toward turning the key and walking into their new home. The Members toured the grounds, stood on the property of their future homes, and began building whole new relationships with each other and the environment.”
One Charter Member, a retired doctor, said, “It’s so exciting to be here and see and visualize where our home will be next summer.”
Irene, another Charter Member, explained, “It was nice seeing the area where our house is going to be. We’re coming back again soon.”
A potential Member, JoAnn, said, “It’s lovely here. Pinegrove is an investment and that’s interesting. It’s not like other communities for older adults where you don’t get your money back. Here, you’re investing in your future and your family.”
Another potential Member, Robert, retired from the banking industry, said he thinks “Pinegrove is great” and “I’m very impressed with what the Briody family is doing here.”
Find yourself on a Walkabout at Pinegrove. Join us for the fun at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 20. Call 478-0279 or 800-475-6035 to RSVP.
