To preserve our community as well as our environment.

Sustainability and sharing local resources sounds simple enough, but to successfully abide by such a claim requires planning and a willingness to stand by your principles. It means using energy efficient lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and appliances; designing residences to make the most effective use of natural light, and repurposing rainwater for landscape irrigation. Each is just a small part that adds up to the whole of being “green.”

But sustainability means more than just conserving and recycling. It means supporting the local community by using local produce. It means sourcing innovative building materials and supplies from local companies. Simply put, sustainability means reducing our impact and making our community better. It means being a good neighbor.
